This Months: Sad To See It Go

I was in the shower sadly scraping the last of my exfoliator out of it's tub thinking how sad I was that it was all gone, of course that pain was eased by knowing that I can now go out and get a new exfoliator to try without feeling guilty about buying excess products.

It started me thinking that a fun blog post idea to do each time I finish a product would be a feature called 'Sad To See It Go' which I will be doing monthly or as and when I finish a product that I love and am (obviously) sad to see go.

So this months Sad To See It Go is..........

St. Ives. Apricot Body Scrub. The deep cleansing one, for Oily, Blemish Prone Skin.

This is such an amazing exfoliator, It smells amazing and works a treat too! This is a 100% natural exfoliator, it is gentle but deep exfoliation and smells so good too, which is always a bonus ha ha ha

Scrub a dub dub off them bad skin cells ha ha,

Make Up Tutorial Advice

I'm going to be starting Make Up tutorials in the new year which I am super excited about, I'll be hopefully getting a camera which is suited to filming tutorials and all those sort of sit down and talk videos, as the camera I have now is more of a carry around vlogging camera ha ha.

And when I do I will be filming as many tutorials and TAG videos as I possibly can due to the excitment of being able to film them ha ha ha ha. So I decided to start looking for inspiration. I found these three really cute cards in the shop I work in and decided that before I tuck them away until the new year I'd write a quick blog post and get some ideas from you all. I have a rough idea of what look I'm going to do from each card but thought It'd be fun to get your thoughts on them, tell me what you think I should do... Or! Do a look from one of the cards and then post it as a video response anywhere on my YouTube channel, BeingRebeccaHooper and I'd love to watch it!

Here they are...

You can't really see but on the last one, but the ends of the angel wings fade from white to blue then through the colours of the rainbow, that's the look I'd do for this card, I want to do a shimmery white eye-shadow leading into blue then through the colours of the rainbow, I think that it'd look beautiful. Let me know what you'd do!

Autumn Wardrobe Essentials

I've always been a fan of basic tank tops with a coloured or patterned cardigan, I think that a plain top can be dressed up in so many different ways. That's why I purchased some new basic T-shirts from Matalan recently, they were so inexpensive and when I got them delivered they were amazing quality and fitted so so well, so I ordered some more in different colours.

I think these T-shirts are going to be such a great staple item and will be perfect for the Autumn months for layering and for pairing with cute jumpers and cardigans!

I also ordered some more detailed tops, one which is striped with the most gorgeous Autumnal colours and a sinched waist which is really flattering.

Also I got a cute top which is a cream colour with a lazer cut pattern all over it, and sparkly buttons which will look great through the Autumn and in Winter too. I think the cream colour with the silver sparkly buttons will be super nice for the Winter as that's exactly what I imagine Wintery clothes should look like, cute, warm colours with sparkle! ha ha

And what Autumn would be complete without a pretty coloured warm, snuggly hoody, this is the warmest, fluffiest and cuddliest hoody ever and it only cost me £10.00

Finding 'The One'

I've been hunting high and low for a new handbag recently, all for nothing as there has been nothing about that has taken my fancy! I've had a gorgeous Lipsy handbag for nearly three years and It's well loved and has been used to death, so it really was time for a new one.

I was out yesterday doing some Christmas shopping with the boyfriend and stumbled across an Oasis store. Now a few weeks earlier I was in a shopping centre which had an Oasis concesion and had seen the gorgeous handbag sat on display, but when I picked it up there was no price on it so I just decided it wasn't meant to be and put it back. (ok well the main reason I put it back was because I was about to splurge £40.00 on a new pair of jeans and had decided that was quite enough to be spending ha ha!)

So anyway, yesterday I went into the Oasis store for a browse and after looking through maybe three or four handbags I like a little bit I saw the bag I saw the other week sat on a shelf and grabbed it! The rest is history so they say.

I marched up to the till with that amazing handbag, knowing it was meant to be and am now a proud owner of a new handbag, finally!

Here it is....

Best Smelling Smell You'll Ever Smell

I was just taking a shower and It's pretty late so I just wanted to shower and then get back into some warm clothes (it's freezing here in England right now). So I grabbed the shampoo that was sat in the corner of the shower and put some on my hair and began to wash my hair (as you do in the shower).

And my nose began to pick up the most AMAZING scent, it was sniff sniff sniffing away until I pinned down the scent was coming from the shampoo, it's got...

'A selection of avocado oil from South Africa and macadamia oil from Australia where they are known to moisturise and revitalise damaged hair'

And if you haven't used this shampoo before you need to! It's by Timotei and it's the intense repair shampoo for dry and damaged hair, the smell it overwhelmingly yummy. I couldn't get enough of it, and even sitting here now after drying my  hair you can still smell it!

Timotei Beauty Recipes Intense Repair Shampoo 300ml

So give it a try and tell me what you think of the smell, truly yummy or not for you?

Late night blogs and yummy smelling shampoo,
